SWCCB Brass at Vintage Base Ball Game
Step back in time for a summer afternoon of music and old-fashioned Vintage Base Ball in Orland Park, IL! And yes, that is the correct spelling!
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, starting at 12:30 PM, the Southwest Community Concert Band Brass Ensemble will provide pre-game entertainment for a vintage baseball game and perform the first arrangement ever published of The Star-Spangled Banner to kick off the game! First pitch is expected to be at 1:15 PM!
It’s a wonderful chance to enjoy live music, community spirit, and a nostalgic look at America’s pastime In a real game played with baseball rules from before the Civil War when the game was in its infancy!

Due to the weather outlook and related heat, rain, and weather advisories, the SWCCB July 4th outdoor concert scheduled to be held at 4 pm CT at Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church at 146th and Will-Cook Road in Homer Glenn, IL has been cancelled.
