Please consider supporting the Southwest Community Concert Band through our Standing Ovation Giving Program, our donor program that helps keep music alive in our community.
As the SWCCB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contributions may be tax-deductible. Please check with your tax advisor before giving. We will be glad to provide you with any documentation necessary regarding your donation for tax reporting purposes.

Your donation goes to help defer the costs of running the band and putting on our various events like concerts, winter band day, and summer band camp. We are a non-profit organization, but we have expenses to run the band every year, like insurance and the cost of music. Any money you donate helps defray those costs and Helps us continue to serve the community like we have for the past 40 plus years.

Absolutely! And that is music to our ears …pun definitely intended!
There are many ways to get more involved and help the band, even if you are not a musician. Please go to our HOME page where you will be directed to our ABOUT page where you can see all the different ways to get involved with the band.

Yes, we certainly do. There are a few types of in-kind donations that we accept. First, if you're getting rid of concert band sheet music or ensemble type sheet music, we will gladly talk to you about it. When other community bands have disbanded, we have asked them to let us have their music library Or allow us to purchase it. Another way to donate in kind is musical instruments. If you'd like to get rid of decent working musical instruments, they don't have to be in perfect shape. We can certainly take them. In some cases, we donate them to other youth or grade school band programs that are in need.
So the best thing to do if you're thinking about donating something to us is to contact us and let's talk!
And thank you for considering us in this way.
-
Absolutely. We offer donation opportunities that, at certain levels, allow a donor to request that the band perform a specific song in memory of a loved one at an upcoming concert.
This has been part of our giving program for a long time, and we will be making that information more visible on our website soon. Please check back, as we’ll be sharing more details shortly about this and other donation opportunities.
