2007-2008 Sponsors

The Southwest Community Concert Band, a not-for-profit organization, has been providing quality musical entertainment and education for the south and southwestern suburbs for the past 25 years. The band was founded in the fall of 1981 as a non-credit class at Moraine Valley Community College. Over the years, it has grown in both membership and reputation. The band hosts a number of performances throughout the year, and plays several requested concerts for area communities. In addition, the Band hosts an annual Band Day, and it hosts a week long Band Camp in the summer. The Band also has an annual Music Scholarship Award, which it gives to several applicants. The band now calls Lemont its home, rehearsing at First Church of the Nazarene, 12725 South Bell Road, on Tuesday evenings.

Holiday and Summer Concert Band Books

The Band is developing its 2nd Annual Ad Book to be distributed at its “Home for Christmas” Concert on December 16, 2007, and its Summer Concert June 1, 2008. The book will be a 5 ½” by 8 ½” format which will be distributed at both concerts. The name of your business will also be listed on the Band’s Web site.

  • Business Sponsorship - $25. 00 (Business name listed)
  • Family/Individual Sponsorship - $20. 00 (Name listed)
  • The Band is also accepting Corporate Benefactor Sponsorship at the following levels:
    Silver - $250.00 Gold - $500.00 and Platinum - $1,000.00

As a Corporate Benefactor, you will get a full page ad in the both the Holiday and Summer Ad Book, name recognition on a sign at will be displayed at all Band performances and functions, as well as recognition on the Band’s Web site.
